The SAMS System has been replaced by MS Bookings

MS Bookings will be used as the replacement system for SAMS for Academic Support Meeting Bookings. Each school is setup with its own calendar and own booking link for Students to book appointments.

Detailed instructions on how to use the new booking system can be found here and links to the individual School Booking Pages can be accessed below:

  • School of Architecture and Built Environment
  • School of Engineering, Computing and Mathematical Sciences
  • School of Life Sciences
  • School of Pharmacy
  • Appointments are offered to students two weeks in advance and a minimum of 24 hour’s notice is required for them to make or cancel a booking. The meeting duration is set at 20 minutes with 10 minutes buffer time before and after and if necessary, students can book sequential slots if a longer meeting is needed.

    The meetings are defaulted to MS Teams with a MS Teams link automatically generated when a student makes a booking. Students are still offered the option if they prefer to have an onsite meeting when they make the booking request.

    Rooms that were previously booked through SAMS can now be booked by staff via Outlook.
